Ice-o-lator, also known as iceolator or ice hash , is a very potent type of hash. Its production process involves extraction using ice and water. It can, of course, be used with any aromatic herb, such as mint or lavender.

In the case of CBD, the process involves extracting the resin using ice water, in order to isolate the cannabinoids and terpenes present on the flowers and leaves of CBD flower plants.

Ice water, with a temperature between 2 and 5°C, will break down the molecules, causing them to sink to the bottom of the container, while the organic materials will float to the surface. The CBD molecules are thus separated in the cold water and then collected in a bag designed for this purpose.
