CBN vs. CBD

Due to its relatively recent rediscovery, there isn't as much research on CBN as there is on CBD and THC, making it difficult to provide conclusive evidence regarding its medicinal efficacy and therapeutic benefits. However, initial studies are promising, and its emergence ensures that further research into its homeopathic properties will continue in the near future. What we do know is that the breakdown of THC into CBN shares similar properties with cannabidiol (CBD) and is most effective when used synergistically. This is convenient because CBN can be found in CBD products. With this in mind, the potential benefits of CBN include:

Sleep induction – Researchers at Steep Hill conducted a study claiming that concentrated doses of CBN were more effective at inducing sleep than Valium or any other cannabinoid. As a result, many patients began using CBN oil for sleep and reported falling asleep more easily and experiencing deeper sleep.

Pain Relief – Several studies have highlighted CBN's potent analgesic properties for chronic pain and other conditions. A 2002 study states: “This study shows that THC and cannabinol cause the release of sensory neuropeptides and vasorelaxation. Although they act on a molecular target distinct from VR1, these drugs have an effect on primary sensory nerves and receptors, similar to those of capsaicin and other vanilloid receptor agonists.”

Antibiotic properties – Animal and human experiments have demonstrated antibiotic properties, including activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).

Directions for use:
We recommend taking Buddha Farm's CBN oil in the evening, however, it can be taken during the day. Place 1 to 3 drops of Buddha Farm's CBN oil under the tongue. Leave for 60 seconds before swallowing. Leave 6 to 8 hours between doses and repeat up to 3 times a day as needed. Individual effects vary and may differ depending on the person's condition, weight, or any existing medical history (refer to the dosage chart in store or ask the salesperson for advice). It is recommended to take the appropriate product but gradually increase the dosage in increments. THC < 0.2%.
